Review: Avon Glimmerstick Eyeliner

"Creamy formula glides on smoothly for precision lining that won’t drag or smudge, and wears for up to 12 hours. Retractable pencil means no need for sharpening. Waterproof."

Colours available:

Blackest Black

Majestic Plum

Starry Night Blue

Cosmic Brown

Saturn Grey

Pros
Creamy and easy to apply without tugging the lids
Very pigmented
Removes easily with eye make-up remover
Retractable packaging
Once freshly applied, you can smudge it straight away with a smudger pencil to create a simple smoky eye look
No need for a sharpener

Cons

Since the liner is softer compared to other pencil liners, the tip can easily break

Overall

Though the name states 'Glimmerstick', the Blackest Black came out matte black with no glimmer. However, if you're trying to create really dramatic eyes and wanted the gel liner/liquid liner effect in pencil form, this is the one you're looking for. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely buy again!

Tips

To prevent eyeliner from further smudging, "set" the pencil liner with a similar shade of powder eyeshadow

Do not tug your lids when you apply eyeliner

Apply a thick line on your upper lash line, use a smudge brush and smudge gently with a wiper motion to create very simple and easy-to-do smoky eyes
