Smoky eyes

To create smoldering, smoky eyes, stay away from blue hues – which can make you look like you have undereye circles. Instead, go for black, grey or brown. Then, follow these steps:

1. Use a cream concealer to make a smooth base for your eyeshadow.

2. Trace your top lashline from the inner corner to the outer using eyeliner (black or grey looks best) I recommend Jillian Dempsey for Avon Professional Kohl Eyeliner as it has a built-in smudger. Use the same pencil to dot between your lower lashes. Smudge both lashlines.

3. Sweep powder shadow such as Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad (brown, grey and dark green all work with black or grey liner) over your lid and into your crease, blending the colour up and outward.

4. Dust a lighter, neutral eyeshadow over your brow bone.

5. Finish with two coats of Avon SuperShock black mascara!
